Cherry Blossom Inspired Look

 Hello everybody,

Honestly it feels pretty weird to be making a cherry blossom inspired makeup tutorial when it is the middle of summer in Australia or winter in the rest of the world. But, I could not pass on this look when i saw it on Pinterest, it was too cute not to try out.

  1. Start off by applying a light gold shimmer shadow on the eyelids. I use a dense wide brush and I sweep the product back and forth in a windshield wiper motion, to ensure even coverage. I also drag any left over product on the brush onto my lower lash line.
  2. Using a crayon matte black eye liner I create a small cat eye, making sure that the wing is not too long. Using a small angled brush with a matte grey shadow on it I go over the cat eye I made with the crayon eye liner and I smudge the line creating a kind of hazy effect.
  3. In addition, I apply the crayon eye liner on the outer third of my lower lash line and then using the grey shadow and the angled brush I then apply the shade on the outer third of my lower lash line and smudge the eye liner.
  4. With a hot pink eye shadow I apply it on top of eye liner only covering the upper half lid. Then in the centre of my eyelids I apply a lighter pink shade making sure it blends with the hot pink shade.
  5. Using a shimmer tan shade I apply it along the inner corner of my eyes, in an attempt to make them sparkle and pop.
  6. Finishing touch is to apply a black mascara on the bottom and top lashes.

  1. To make sure those lips are not chapped apply lip balm.
  2. Using a pink/orange shade apply it on the centre of the bottom lip and smudge it out and smack your lips so that the colour can transfer onto to the top lip.

That is it that guys and the look is complete. I hope you guys enjoyed it and if you did please like this post or share your thoughts with me in the comments section. In addition, I have put a video version of this look on this post and I hope that you guys support my YouTube channel too.

Soft, Unique Makeup Tutorial

Hello everybody,

Today I’m going to be sharing with you all how to create this makeup look which is very soft and unique as it incorporates both warm and cool tones.

  • To begin with apply a tan shade all over the eyelids using a big fluffy eyeshadow brush.
  • Using a small eyeshadow brush apply a shimmery brown shadow on the inner corners and outer corners of the eyelid.
  • In the centre of the eyes apply a matte neutral pink shade on the centre of the eyes. You can build the colour up until you get the desired shade.
  • Using a flat eyeshadow brush apply a hot pink matte shade on the outer corner of the eyes by first creating a ‘v’ shape and then blending the colour in.
  • Using a small eyeshadow brush apply a light blue shimmer shadow on the lower lash line only on the inner and outer lower lash line.
  • Using a black eyeliner line the upper lash line (try not to make the line too thick) and only creating a very small flick

  • Using a purple/red dark lipstick apply it on the bottom of your lips.
  • Smack your lips and distribute the colour evenly using your finger.
  • You don’t want your lipstick to be harsh but rather soft.

I hope you guys enjoyed reading my post and if you want to see the YouTube version of this post I have posted a link down below. Also, please share with me your thoughts on this makeup look in the comments down below.

Yellow Sunset Makeup

Recently I have been seeing all over Instagram and YouTube that everyone has been obsessed with yellow eyeshadow. To be honest I love this trend and I hope it lives, and is not just around for this spring/summer (or winter if you live in Australia).

  • Start off by applying a light brown matte shade all over the eyelids.
  • Now apply a yellow eyeshadow all over the eyelids. In order to ensure that the colour is bright you may need to apply a couple of shades onto your eyelids. I personally feel that a cream eyeshadow would work best instead of a powder eyeshadow.
  • Using a hot pink matte shade and a blending brush apply the product on the outer third of your eyes making sure that it blends in with the yellow eyeshadow. When the two colours meet they will create a dark orange colour which will then act as a gradient with the yellow and pink.
  • With a pearly shimmer shade apply it on the inner corner of the eyes. This will allow the eyes to pop.
  • Using a medium brown shade apply it halfway along the lower lash line. By doing this you are creating a balance with your eyes so they don’t look too top heavy.
  • Time for eyeliner, in order to capture the softness of a sunset I would actually suggest that you use a black crayon eyeliner. For this look I applied my eyeliner by starting out and then working my way halfway in and then going back out in order to create the flick.

  • Using a mauve lip liner apply it all over the lips. This will act as a base and allows the lipstick to stay on longer and not crack.
  • Using a bright orange lipstick apply it all over the lips.

That is it guys. The makeup look is very simple to do and does not take that much time to complete. Please make sure to check out the YouTube tutorial version of this makeup link, which I have linked down below. Also, don’t forget to check out my giveaway, which will be finishing soon.

Colourpop Cosmetics Unboxing

Hello cuties,

A couple of weeks ago I ordered products for the very first time off of the Colourpop store and they finally came today. I always heard great reviews online about Colourpop cosmetics and I decided to check it out for myself and to see if it was worth the hype.

First and foremost I was pleasantly surprised at how cheap and cost-effective most of the items were. Lipstick for only $6 to me is an amazing deal, because I honestly expected to pay $15 for one tube of lipstick. In addition I also expected to pay an arm and a leg for shipping, but it was only $9.99 for any orders that were under $50 (international not within the US), which also surprised considering that was very cheap to ship from America all the way to Australia. My order took 10 days to get from the US to Australia.

For my first ever order I wanted to get their infamous lipsticks and their eyeshadows, so I decided to buy their ‘Nectar Collector’ which consisted of their ‘Blow Me Away’ eye shadow palette and their ‘Phase 1’ lip bundle. Along with the products I bought I was also able to get two free mini travel sized lipsticks. Unfortunately the ‘Nectar Collector’ is no longer available on the website, so if you want to buy those products you have to buy them separately.

My firs impressions on the products were that I was very surprised by how smooth and velvety the lip products were, they just glided on to my lips. There was no sticky feeling and my lips did not become dry, nor did they crack. The only negative would be that the lipsticks are not really smudge free and they do budge if I wipe my hand or a napkin across my lips.

Frick N' Frack

This one is great versatile colour which is very easy to pair with different outfits.

This shade was the most upsetting to me because I thought it would be much darker.

This one has to be the best colour out of all of them! It’s my first ever shade that is dark and vampy and I’m loving it.

Up Twirl

This colour I gave to my Mum because she loves vibrant pinks like this, so I couldn’t swatch it on my lips.

I normally am not a fan of glosses, but this one surprised me a lot. It gave a light sheen did not feel sticky and the colour was a very natural light pink.

As for the eyeshadows I still haven’t tested them out or done a swatch test because I want to create an eye look and then test out their staying power.

That’s the end of my post, I hope you guys enjoyed reading it. As always if you enjoyed reading my post please leave a comment and like this post.

Hello my lovelies,
Today’s look is very unique and eyecatching and combines both warm and cool tones. This look is great for anyone who is experimenting with makeup and would like to create a statement look, but is not too over the top.

  1. Using a pearly white shade apply it all over to the eye lids.
  2. Using a fluffy blending brush use a peach colour and apply it all over the eye lids.
  3. With an angled fluffy brush use a tan shade and apply it on the crease.
  4. Using the same angled brush apply a dark brown shade all over the crease. This will add more definition to the eyes.
  5. On the outer half of the lower lash line apply a dark blue shimmer shade with hints of green. (Look for a seaweed kind of colour)
  6. On the inner hald of the lower lash line apply a ight blue shimmer shade.
  7. With a black eyeliner create a very subtle cat-eye, the main focus should be the blue eyeshadow not the eyeliner.
  8. Now load up your top lashes with mascara. Do not apply any on your lower lashes.

  1. Line the lips with a mauve lip pencil.
  2. Using a baby pink matte liquid lipstcik apply it all over the lips.

That is the finished look. Please let me know in the comments down below if you liked the look, and check out the YouTube video I made of this look.

Doll eyes makeup tutorial

Hello lovelies,

I was inspired by Melanie Martinez, Japanese Gyaru makeup, and Marina and the Diamonds to do this makeup look. This is a somewhat more toned down version as it’s not as dramatic. This makeup look would be great for Halloween if you wanted to go as something cute such as a doll.

  1. For the base I used a gold shimmer shadow and applied it all over my eyelids.
  2. Using a dark brown shade and a fluffy angled brush. I loaded up my brush and created a false crease on top of my natural crease, this will give an illusion of bigger looking eyes.
  3. With eyeliner I created a slightly exaggerated cat eye that extended further out than usual.
  4. I then extended the end of that line down halfway down my lower lash line. This is to create a fake lower lash line to widen my eyes making them bigger.
  5. What makes the look are false lashes. So I apply a pair with lots of gaps on top of my upper lashline. For my bottom lashes I bought a pair of individual lashes and applied them to the bottom of my fake lower lash line that I created previously.
  6. To make the eyes pop I apply a pearl shade on to my tear dux and on my brow bones.
  7. To complete the look I applied a pink lipstick onto my lips.

That’s the completed look and I hope you guys enjoyed it.
